Change for Good!

Hello friends!

Today I come to you sharing a bit of myself and the hopes I have for Joyfully Jan. For those that have been with me any length of time, you have seen me own several companies. It may seem like one had nothing to do with the other but in truth, my motivation behind all of them has been the same - create a circle of friends that support and lift each other up through shared interests in home living/decorating, hobbies and other creative outlets.

The other benefit is that I get to share myself and my passions in a way I wouldn't otherwise. I think that's one of the best personal advantages of owning your own small business -  you get to make decisions that align with your personal values and ideals.

Such is the case for my announcement today as I re-launch my wax melts!

As you know, I’ve always been committed to using only US-produced wax that is environmentally-friendly and sustainable. And the fragrances I use  are also made in the US and are free of parabens and phthalates. However, the one thing that continued to bother me was the overuse of plastic in the form of my packaging.

That is why I’m happy to announce that I will be using biodegradable and recyclable bags for all future runs of my melts! Yay for being able to do my part in saving the planet!

This change has also allowed me to revisit the actual making of the melts themselves. Because the mascot for Joyfully Jan Designs is the butterfly, I’ve created these adorable butterfly melts. While I was at it, I've embraced these bee melts to differentiate Joyfully Jan from other melt makers out there. 

These new melt shapes will also come in a variety of colors and scents - including a "Featured Scent" each month. The only thing that won’t change is the quality you’ve come to expect and the fair price you enjoy!

I'd also like to use this post to thank you once again for your loyalty, support and friendship. The re-launching of my candles and soaps has given new life to my business and my spirit and it appears from sales, that you are also enjoying them.

I hope you enjoy the new packaging, new designs and same customer service you've come to rely upon me for.
